Dr Sheridan Laing, Head of Research Operations; Leadership Team
Dr Sheridan Laing is Head of Research Operations and commenced at the Institute in 2021.
PhD studies in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Melbourne and her career spans 12 years of successful delivery of applied and translational biomedical engineering research programs in academic, government and not-for-profit organisations.
Prior to joining the Institute, she spent 9 years with the Defence Science and Technology group, undertaking and managing applied biomedical engineering research programs.
Sheridan brings this experience and expertise to the Bionics Institute to provide project and operational support to the research activities across the Institute and to the Chief Technology Officer.
Working at the interface between research and business units, Sheridan enjoys supporting and enabling researchers to deliver and scale life-changing technologies.
